Country music singing star Tammy Wynette (May 5, 1942-April 6, 1998) was one of country music's best-known artists and biggest-selling female singers. She was an American icon and a country music icon. Tammy made a guest appearance on Married... with Children as herself, as the new manager of Kelly and Peg, whose act was named The Juggs, in a spoof of another popular country music act at the time The Judds, in the episode "The Juggs Have Left the Building" in Season 11.


Wynette charted 23 No. 1 songs. Along with Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton, she is credited with having defined the role of women in country music during the 1970s. Asides from all of her hit songs and LP's. Tammy is perhaps most famous for her song, "Stand By Your Man."
