Kathryn Edwards (née Eickstaedt, born October 16, 1964) is an actress and former model who is best known for appearing as herself during the 6th season of the reality television show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On Married... with Children, she played Lola, one of two fitness babe assistants / girlfriends of TV fitness show Jim Jupiter, in the Season 4 episode, "Dead Men Don't Do Aerobics".
Career[]
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Kathryn was signed by a modelling agency straight out of high school. She was featured in Nike’s first “Just Do It” campaign.
She moved to California in 1984 and began working in Los Angeles in 1986. In an interview, she mentioned that she was able to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to her friendship with actress Lisa Rinna, as they had both appeared in commercials during their early acting days.
She later confirmed that she would not return for a second season, stating that while she enjoyed her time on the show, she wanted to return to a normal private life and spend more time with her husband and friends. [1]
Personal Life[]
From 1993 to 2001, she was married to NFL running back Marcus Allen. The couple were married on the estate of O.J. Simpson in Brentwood, California and were asked to testify during the O.J. Simpson murder trial in 1995.
In 2002, she married former NFL linebacker Donnie Edwards who also appeared with her on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . In 2018, they founded the Best Defense Foundation, a charity that honors and celebrates military veterans.
