Howard "Howie" Matthew Moses Long (born January 6, 1960) is an American former National Football League defensive end and actor. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000, and is currently a studio analyst for Fox Sports Networks' NFL coverage. As a defensive end for the NFL's Oakland Raiders, Howie, who was a 8-time Pro Bowl (1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1989, 1992, 1993). a 3-time First-team All-Pro (1983, 1984, 1985) and a two-time Second-team All-Pro (1986, 1989), was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000, and is currently a studio analyst for Fox Sports Networks' NFL coverage.
Howie appears as himself in two episodes of Married... with Children, first, in the Season 10 episode "Special: Al Bundy's Sports Spectacular", and then in the episode "A Bundy Thanksgiving" in Season 11.
