Quotes[]

  • Luke: Hey, the day Luke Ventura can't help a friend, that's a day he's got something better to do.

  • Marcy: There are a lot of man-hungry barracudas out there. The first little wink - his shoes will be under her bed.
  • Peggy: Well that should end it right there. [laughs]

Notes[]

Title[]

  • The episode title is based on the phrase "to lose one's cherry" (i.e. to lose one's virginity). In this case Al "loses" Sherry Cherry.

Trivia[]

  • It is revealed that Al works Saturdays but is home on Sundays.
  • Al mentions the show's title twice (and for the first time) when he states that he is "married with children".
  • Luke lives in apartment 12E.
  • Luke refers to Al as Al "the King" Bundy.
  • This is the last appearance of Luke Ventura.
  • Jerry Hall, who plays Terry Cherry in this episode, has a twin sister in real life called Terry.
  • As evidenced by the production code, this was the seventh episode produced for the season, though it was the tenth episode aired.
