Episode summary
Al, Peggy and Bud are part of a shopping mall softball team playing against other mall teams. The team, the New Market Mallers, are first alluded to in this episode, while Kelly is dating the son of one of Peggy's old flames, both of whom are also on the team. Kelly falls in love with Brian, a guy who puts his bugs in their restaurant meals to get it for free! Brian's a nice guy, but his father Jimmy is pretty strange.
Kelly and Brian have both planned to get tattoos. Seeing Brian's dad, who once had 'Peggy' tattooed on his arm, Al thinks he's quite strange when he pops up at the door. As for the New Market Mallers, softball is not doing well. They are playing against men with "visible underwear lines", at least according to Al.
After losing a few too many games, Al demands that Peggy improve her softball skills or she is off his team. Meanwhile, Kelly's new boyfriend, Brian, asks her to prove her love to him by getting a tattoo.
