Dottie and Harold were a married couple who were the first known victims of Poppy, a serial killer who hacked them to death with an axe in 1967 in Dumpwater, FL, hotel room, where the Bundys would be staying in in 1987 in their visit there in the episode of Married... with Children titled "Poppy's by the Tree, Part I". The part of husband Harold is played in the episode by Bill Marcus; the wife Dottie is played by Sandy Sprung, who also has served as a producer and writer for the show.
