Whilst the holiday season is a joyous time of year for many people, in the lives of the Bundys it generally serves as a reminder of how firmly they sit in the ranks of the 'have nots'. Over the years, however, the Bundys (Al in particular) have experienced the occasional 'Christmas miracle' of their own, such as "It's a Bundyful Life".
Al has a running feud with a number of Santas at the New Market Mall in particular, and has even physically attacked some from time to time. Al did try several Christmas-themed scams to supplement his own income.
