Arnold (center) watching Al try to find suitable shoes for his mother
Arnold, referred to by Al as 'John Henry over there', is the bored child of a customer in the "Pilot", the very first episode of Married... with Children, hammering away on the floor with hundred dollar pumps. When Arnold's mother Shirley (played by Diana Bellamy) decides the "courteous service" of the advertisement is lacking, and that they will take their shopping elsewhere, Arnold declares that he wants a balloon. This offers Al the opportunity, observing the bent-over form of his ex-customer, to comment that "he already has one", insulting his Mom! The part of Arnold is played in the episode by Victor DiMattia.
